Throughout the centuries, the figure of Leonardo da Vinci has never stopped fascinating us. As well as being an inventor, scientist and artist, the Tuscan Genius was not only a lover of good wine, but also a pioneering agronomist and enologist.
After rediscovering and restoring the Maestro’s research and advice, the Leonardo da Vinci Winery has used it as inspiration to prepare an exclusive production protocol, with specific qualitative and quantitative criteria for every phase of production.
In the wake of the Genius’s research, the Leonardo da Vinci Winery has recreated a unique experience space inside a historical tunnel in the medieval heart of the village of Vinci, where you can immerse yourself in the Maestro’s knowledge and discover the wines inspired by the Genius.
Indeed, inside the Leonardo Wine Genius exhibition space it is possible to discover the unique aspects of the Vinci area, Leonardo’s passion for wine and viticulture, and taste a selection of wines that are ambassadors of a unique territory.
The tasting is divided into different experiences:
LEONARDO’S TUSCANY
This experience will lead you on a journey to discover an authentic interpretation of the Vinci area’s wines, following in the footsteps of the Maestro’s teachings.

LEONARDO’S MASTERPIECES
This experience includes a selection of Wines Inspired by the Genius, which come from vineyards that have been cultivated since the Renaissance, when Leonardo made his first observations on agronomy.

LEONARDO’S JOURNEY
An experience that traces the steps of the journey Leonardo made in 1502 in Romagna, when he further delved into his studies in winemaking.
